This behind-the-scenes clip follows a quiet part of the WanQi Archive workflow: courier/package handling, studio tools, and the slower steps around porcelain making.

WanQi Archive documents craft carefully and conservatively.
For each object, we record the confirmed material, visible decoration method, dimensions, weight and packing weight. When a process detail is not yet confirmed, we do not turn it into a sales claim.
Many of the objects in the archive are kaolin porcelain pieces with blue-and-white, color-glaze or hand-finished decorative surfaces. We photograph the object from multiple sides so collectors and gift buyers can inspect the form, glaze, motif and scale before ordering.
Because ceramics are fragile, craft does not end at the kiln. Packing, weight records and careful shipping communication are part of the buying experience.
