WanQi Archive begins with the memory of a vanished empire.

Our founder comes from a Manchu family, carrying stories of Qing-era elegance, old court aesthetics, and traditional Eastern objects. But history moves forward. Titles fade. What once lived behind walls and rituals cannot be preserved by identity alone. It has to be remade by hand.

So she went to Jingdezhen.

There, clay does not become porcelain because of who you are. Every piece must pass through shaping, trimming, painting, glazing, and fire. A wrong brushstroke cannot be hidden. A failed firing cannot be rescued by a beautiful story. Through this discipline, she came to understand a different kind of value: not inherited status, but the courage to return to the earth and create something that can live with others.

Later, she brought this craft to Malaysia, a place where many cultures, languages, beliefs, and ways of life meet every day. There, she saw porcelain as more than an old tradition. It became a symbol of how civilizations can share the same space without losing their own beauty.

Porcelain begins with earth, water, hands, and fire. It belongs to one of humanity's earliest dreams: to make vessels that carry life, memory, offering, and love. Industrial objects may disappear with each age, but handmade vessels endure because they hold the time and touch of a real person.

WanQi Archive exists to carry Jingdezhen hand-painted porcelain into homes around the world. Each piece can become a gift, a family memory, a beginning for a new home, a companion for a quiet room, or a small sign of cultures meeting with grace.

At this stage, WanQi pieces are hand-painted by the founder herself. Every brushstroke is human. Every object passes through clay and kiln fire. We believe what truly survives history is not power or title, but the objects people create, give, keep, and love.
